(Possibly) One of Our New Fave Shows
We love Gilmore Girls. We cried when Amy Sherman-Palladino, creator of the show (and writer of almost every ep), left in a huff last season, and then we cried some more when the show started to suck a bit. Especially painful was Jess's doing well in Heroes Land and Rocky (!!), dashing any real hopes of another Lorelai, Jr.-Resident Bad Boy reunion.
But there is hope.
Parker Posey (one of our readers demands we note that she is foxing up the cover of this month's Lucky Magazine) is venturing into series television with The Return of Jezebel James, a Fox comedy pilot from Sherman-Palladino! Parker would play a successful children's book editor who is newly single and, after learning she won't be able to conceive, asks her estranged younger sister to carry her baby for her.
More good news: Former Six Feet Under actress Lauren Ambrose is set to play Parker Posey's younger sister!
The bad news: The title of the show is...iffy, and it is a comedy on Fox.
Pray to the Stars (Hollow).

while hanging out with my friend in the east village, he bragged to me that he had seen parker posey a few days back, to which i said, "y'know, you can't throw a stone around these parts without hitting parker posey."
we parted ways and he went to use the bathroom at kmart (when the astor place kmart used to have bathrooms). he called me immediately and said, "guess who's at the makeup counter at kmart: parker posey."
